My Motherís Spoon
My Motherís Spoon

My Motherís Spoon
Description: These were my motherís baby spoons (and fork) that she gave me a few years before she passed away in 1999. I had wanted to photograph these for a while now, but I never found the time, so I decided to make it my project for the 2012 LF Print Exchange. After the initial setup, I tried using the Cooke 229 mm (PS 945), but I could not get the desired angle of view. Then I decided to see what the Schneider 120 mm macro lens could offer. And there it was, exactly what I had envisioned. Nothing fancy was performed here; just a simple piece of black velvet on a small table with window light and no fill. I employed a little bit of tilt (I love the A/S orbix) and counted out-loud to five for the exposure.
